On Saturday, January 26, 2019 Damayan presented a Know Your Rights workshop for immigrant workers at the Elmhurst Baptist Church. We reviewed the New York City labor laws, safety planning strategies for Immigration Customs Enforcement (I.C.E) worksite visits and how to access free and reliable legal services.
