On Thursday, February 7, Hate Free Zone Queens organizers presented a Know Your Rights training on Cop and ICE Watch practices. Cop and ICE Watch is a legal community defense tactic for monitoring, documenting and deterring abusive policing. It is a way our community can hold police and ICE accountable for their actions. Together, we discussed and role-played how to safely monitor and report police and ICE activity in our neighborhood.
