Damayan Marches In 2018 Philippine Independence Day Parade

DAMAYAN MIGRANTS | June 15, 2018

Damayan joined the 2018 Philippine "Independence" Day Parade to continue the struggle for independence for Filipinos in the US and in the Philippines! The parade took place on June 3rd and followed the route in Manhattan along Madison Avenue to Madison Square Park. Damayan members made up of Filipino domestic and migrant workers, labor trafficking survivors and their families, women, youth, LGBTQ, and friends of Damayan, marched in the parade to call for genuine freedom and democracy for Filipinos in the US and in the Philippines!
