On June 10 and 11, Damayan held the monthly labor and immigration Legal and Health clinic. Immigration attorneys from the Community Development Project at the Urban Justice Center (CDP-UJC) provided labor and immigration consultations; and Dr. Victor Sta. Ana from The Institute of Family Health provided free health screenings and medical consultations.

Damayan organizers also provided Know Your Immigration and Labor Rights refresher trainings and provided handouts (including our new wallet-fitting KYR card) for keeping KYR information on you at all times.  As we continue to fight to #AbolishICE, it is critical that we know our rights on immigration and policing. It is also important that we share information responsibly, and spread power, not paranoia. Stay organized to build collective power to protect yourself and our communities!
