Damayan Holiday Party and Fundraiser 2018: Stop the hate! Rise up, unite, and celebrate!

On December 8, over 130 Damayan members, family members and friends, Board and staff members, and allies attended the highly festive Damayan Holiday Party and Fundraiser 2018 in the new movement space, The People’s Forum, in Manhattan.

Together, we celebrated another year of Damayan’s successful service programs, leadership development and our many victories against labor trafficking, family separation and anti-immigrant bigotry. We enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals from our members and staff and fun music from the Damayan choir and volunteers.

Damayan would like to thank our beloved organizers, worker leaders, members, interns, and volunteers for making this event a huge success, from making phone calls to cooking, transporting, and serving the home cooked food to setting up and decorating the space, and to performing during the program.

To our donors and movement allies and supporters, thank you too for joining us. We hope to continue working and building with you in the coming year!
