Damayan Office Cleaning Cooperative Incubation

“A workers coop is a business that belongs to and is controlled by its workers. The members each have one vote and make decisions democratically, and the profits are distributed between the members equitably”

Damayan has embarked on an office cleaning cooperative initiative in partnership with The Center for Family Life. It would provide stable jobs for Damayan members who are willing to participate in the building of the coop.

The aim of the coop is to empower workers with the ability to control their hours and wages while learning good business practices.

We will be accepting applications until Friday, November 21st

and we will be conducting interviews the week of December 8th.
