Damayan Legal & Health Clinic - Sunday

Please join us on Sunday and Monday Sunday, 5/27 and 5/28, for the DAMAYAN LEGAL & HEALTH CLINIC!

Immigration attorneys from the Community Development Project at the Urban Justice Center (CDP-UJC) and a labor attorney from Eisner & Dictor will be doing consultations.

If you have any of these questions, then this legal clinic is for you: Human / labor trafficking, fraud in labor contracting, stolen wages (your employer didn’t pay you your wages or didn’t pay you correctly), domestic violence, detention or deportation, adjustment of status (fiancee visa, marriage visa, green card, citizenship, etc), or one-time legal consultation.

This is first-come, first-served. Please arrive at 11:30am. Orientation starts at 12pm and intakes and health screening start at 1pm. If you’re not seen by any of the attorneys, you’ll be put on a waitlist for the next legal clinics in late March.

Dr. Victor Sta. Ana will do FREE health screening (blood pressure, height, weight, and body mass index) and medical consultation, and discuss how to access the health care system and get insurance. Please bring any medication that you’re taking. He’s only available on Sunday, March 4.

These services are FREE to Damayan members. Please register BEFORE the legal clinic. To register, please contact Lydia at 212.564.6057 or lydia@damayanmigrants.org
